 | Trade Contents
 | All contents which belong to you or for which you
are responsible including - stock in trade, goods held in trust,
machinery, shop fronts, fascias and blinds, fixtures and fittings,
furniture, decorations and tenants improvements. Tobacco, cigarettes,
wines, spirits and a range of other high value goods are excluded unless cover is specifically requested
and included in the schedule. You will be required to pay a minimum of £250
towards the cost of every claim. |

 | Fixed Glass
 | The breakage of windows, mirrors, showcases, glass shelves,
washbasins lavatories and other sanitary fittings. Plate glass in shop fronts
must be specifically insured. You will be required to pay a
minimum of £100 towards the cost of every claim. |

 | Loss of Money
 | Cash, banknotes, cheques etc., up to a specified
value, which are lost, destroyed or damaged. This includes damage to
your strong room or safe as a result of a theft of money. This excludes theft
resulting from the actions of dishonest employees. You will be required to pay a
minimum of £100 towards the cost of every claim. |

 | Deterioration of Stock
 | The loss, destruction or damage of refrigerated stock due
to a breakdown of the refrigeration unit, a power cut or the escape of
refrigerant fumes. Refrigerators and freezers over 10 years old are
excluded. This does not cover loss arising from the deliberate withholding of gas
or electricity by the supplier or the result of a strike. |

 | Business Interruption
 | Loss of income or increased cost of working arising from a
claim under your buildings or contents insurance, failure of the public supply
of gas, electricity or water or temporary closure of your business by the police
or other authority. |

 | Employers Liability
 | Legally required for businesses with
even one employee, this covers any damages payable to your employees for
illness, injury or disease caused in the course of their employment - up
to £10,000,000. |

 | Public / Products Liability
 | Cover to provide for legal fees and any
compensation payments for which you become legally liable - up to
£2,000,000. You will be required to pay the first £250 of every claim
for damage to property. |

 | Buildings
 | The buildings from which your business operates including
landlords fixtures and fittings, and walls, gates and fences around the
property. This excludes all fixed glass and sanitary fittings (wash basins,
lavatories etc.) |

 | Loss of Rent
 | This covers rent that you must continue to pay even though
the premises you rent are unusable as the result of damage. If you own the
building, you can cover any reduction in rent that you receive from tenants if
the building is unusable as a result of damage. |
|
 | Loss of Licence
 | The loss of value in your business or premises which would
result from the refusal of the licensing authority to renew the licence for the
sale of excisable liquors. The refusal must result from causes outside
your control and must not be due to changes in planning requirements or the law. |
